A call for Club or Schools tournaments we can use to train new referees
Referee recruitment and training is a very important aspect of rugby development in Ontario.
The Toronto & District Rugby Referees' Society (TDRRS) provide referees for TRU and Toronto schools matches, and many of our members referee for other school boards throughout the GTA.

The TDRRS  is seeking clubs or schools who are hosting pre- or early-season tournaments.  (i.e. March through mid-May)
The TDRRS will provide referees free of charge to these tournaments in return for allowing us to use the tournaments for referee development.

As soon as we know dates and locations for the tournaments we will arrange corresponding referee clinics and then publicize the dates for clinics.
It would also be a great help if your school or club was able to make classroom space available for the clinics.

Please contact TDRRS Development Officer Jon Butcher  <tdrrs.development@gmail.com> ASAP for further information.
